Your money, your control
COCA is a truly non-custodial banking app. This means you have absolute ownership of your money. Unlike traditional apps, we do not hold your funds—you do.
You control your accounts through Private Keys, which act as the ultimate master passwords. Even if COCA were to suddenly stop operating, you would never lose access to your funds, whether they are in your Banking account or your Crypto Wallets.
⚠️ Security Warning: Anyone who has your Private Key has full access to your funds. Never share your Private Key with anyone, including COCA support.
How to find your Private Keys
You can view or copy your keys at any time directly within the app:
Go to your Profile.
Tap on Security.
Select View private keys.
Choose either your Banking account or your Crypto Wallets.
Exporting your Crypto Wallets
For most of your crypto assets, you can simply copy your private key from COCA and import it into standard external wallets (like MetaMask or Trust Wallet) to manage your funds anywhere.
Important note for Solana (SOL) and Stellar (XLM): The format of exported private keys for SOL and XLM is currently not supported by most external wallets. Please swap or transfer your SOL and XLM assets to an external address before you proceed deleting your account.
Your Banking Private Key
Your Banking account is completely decentralized. You can use your Banking Private Key to verify that your funds are safely recorded on the blockchain via public scanners at any time.
Because of how our advanced banking infrastructure is built, you cannot currently import this specific key into standard external wallets. This is not a restriction imposed by COCA. Rather, it is because your account is built on the industry-standard ERC-4337 Account Abstraction. Your funds sit in an on-chain smart contract, and standard external wallets are not yet designed to read smart contract balances natively.
Coming soon: We are building a dedicated external recovery web tool. The tool will be fully open-source with its code available on GitHub. Soon, you will be able to use your Banking Private Key to interact with your smart contract and recover your banking balance as stablecoins, completely independent of the COCA app.
Need to close your account today? If you plan to delete your COCA account immediately, please withdraw your banking funds first. You can easily move your money using a standard bank transfer, a crypto transfer, or by sending it to an external card.
For Web3 natives & developers: You do not need to wait for our official recovery tool to access your funds. The private key you export is an EOA signer (managed via Privy) that holds owner permissions for your ERC-4337 smart account powered by ZeroDev and Wirex BaaS. Because all technical specifications and contract architectures are open, advanced users can use block explorers (like BaseScan) or custom web3 scripts to execute contract calls and recover funds manually at any time.
